Iris Scissor Straight is an instrument used in ophthalmologic surgeries, and also during emergency department procedures.
The main structure consists of a ring handle, shank, box-lock, and blade. The straight blades are precision-engineered with high-quality stainless steel, causing minimal trauma to the adjacent structures. Our Iris Scissoris manufactured from premium quality surgical stainless steel and can be sterilized and reused.
Tungsten Carbide tip is the premium range in these. We insert Tungsten Carbide tip at the working area of the instrument to increase the life of the product. These scissors feature tungsten carbide inserts a material much tougher than stainless steel enabling the scissors to last up to 6 times longer than standard inserts.
