The Profile drill or Cortical bone shaping is a necessary component for implant drilling protocol.

These drills are used to shape the cortical area of the surgical site.

The extra drilling tool avoids compression of the implant in the cortical area, thus preventing resorption and facilitating implant placement for ‘THE COSMETIC IMPLANT”
